COURSES:

The Armed Services Marathon, 1/2 Marathon & 5K offers one of the more scenic courses you'll enjoy in Michigan. NO industrial centers nor run down neighborhoods. While much of the course is flat, you will take on a few slightly rolling hills to keep you honest. All courses will start AND finish on the track inside the football stadium. The 1/2 marathon and the full marathon are the same course. The 1/2 marathon is an "out and back" course and the full marathon is out and back twice. The benefits of this are spectators will be able to see and cheer for you more frequently and their will be aid stations at every mile of the course(s). You won't have to wait "2" miles for aid stations and / or "porto" breaks. ALL the aid stations will be stocked identically with water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, pretzels, bananas and Honey Stingers. The 5K course has 1 aid station serving both directions.​
